I was about to assume that the store was independently owned and that the owner just decided to stock Hotwheels. But it turns out NAPA actually sells hotwheels in general. That’s cool.

The majority of NAPA stores are 100% independently owned. Or at least not owned by GPC (the parent company of NAPA). The owners are called “jobbers.” So the owners can sell whatever they want. B ut it seems in this case that NAPA sold them the toys.

tbh, I was having trouble coming to terms with fact that Hot Wheels don't look as good as they did 40 years (plus, I was a Matchbox kid -- and super jealous of all of the Hot Wheels stunt sets).  Plus, I was just there to grab some oil filters for work.

They sell Hot Wheels so your kid can beg you to buy one when you’re there to get some oil and a filter. Ask me how I know. Yes I bought the Hot Wheels Be why not.

And at 2-3$ for mainlines... that is dedication to your “son’s” hotwheels collection. $1.75 in that picture is actually less than other similar places.
